CANDLE CARE

To get the best performance from your Karter & Co. candle, follow these simple care tips:

First Burn Matters

Allow the wax to melt completely to the edges of the vessel during the first burn. This helps prevent tunneling and promotes an even burn throughout the life of your candle. Depending on the scent and environment, this may take approximately 2–3 hours.

Trim Your Wick

Before each burn, trim the wick to ¼ inch. This helps create a cleaner flame, minimizes soot, and extends the life of your candle.

Burn Safely

Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts, children, and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Extinguishing Your Candle

For the cleanest burn, extinguish the flame gently and allow the wax to cool completely before relighting.

Natural Soy Wax Characteristics

Each Karter & Co. candle is hand-poured in small batches using a premium soy wax blend. Because of the natural properties of soy wax, slight variations may occur.

You may notice:

• Slightly uneven tops after burning
• Minor frosting or discoloration
• Small wet spots where the wax pulls from the glass

These are normal characteristics of natural wax and do not affect the quality, performance, or fragrance of your candle.
